He could have written a panegyric, a manifesto, a proclamation on the woman to join the homage, but I have preferred to do it speaking about an exceptional woman. An unjustly silenced painter. Because the woman, also is discriminated at the time of receiving warm welcome, awards and reputation, it always costs him more. Always secondly. And the woman about whom I am going to speak to you is the Galician painter Maruja Mallo.

Four features on an exceptional, Galician birth woman, there comes to Madrid at the age of twenty to study in the Real Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando. It was opening this morning, trying to honor the woman in due time, with an entry devoted to a woman of the XXth century, an exceptional woman, the painter Maruja Mallo.

Now, I want to produce my most sincere homage again to the woman, in the figure of Aminetu Haidar, a woman of the XXIst century. And that this homage spreads his people. Battered, godforsaken and beaten Saharan Republic.

This woman combatant, whose life has happened between the cold of the Moroccan jails, the encirclement of his domicile and the declarations in favor of his people, has been, she is and it will be an example. It will be remembered by his struggle. Not long ago, we all know that it put of knees two States, Morocco and Spain, with his hunger strike. That defended the dignity of his people at the cost of putting in danger his life. But not descabalgó, it continued until they had to twist his arm and give him the account.

Europe has signed an agreement that grants impunity to Morocco. With the president Shoemaker to the head, Europe produced tribute to the predemocratic state. Aminetu today knows that it is necessary to keep on fighting. Today, day of the woman, he knows more than never, that nobody has given him anything, not for Saharan, not for woman. That in the North the worry is different, but that the freedom of his people is written in the horizon. And it will continue, because nobody knocks down a woman as Aminetu, and while, in the old and tired Europe we will keep on eating vegetables, vegetables and fruits of a people that waters his orchards with Saharan blood.
